When conditions allow we groom all of our trails twice a week and the North (# 16)

and South trails (#'s 113, 2 & 16) to Iron River three times a week.

The Chippewa SnoKats groom the following trails in Iron County, Michigan.

Trail  # 111 - Crystal Falls to Amasa (Tall Pines), 20 miles - Groomed   Due to logging activity just East of Rock Crusher Rd,  trail has been rerouted further North on Rock Crusher, watch for signs.

Trail # 18 - Amasa to Fence River,  13 miles -   Groomed   Logging activity West of Bradley Rd (N46degrees 15', W088degrees 22'  to  N46degrees, 10', W088degrees, 23') toward Amasa,  trail has little to no snow on roadway.

Trail # 16 - Crystal Falls to Sagola, 24 miles - groomed    Due to wet area, trail rerouted on Lake Mary Road watch for signs.

Trail # 16 -  Crystal Falls to Iron River (North Trail), 23 miles - groomed 

Trail # 113 - Crystal Falls to Stager Junction, 9 miles - groomed  Watch for wet area and large ice chunks in wetland between Stager Lake Road and Stager Junction

Trail # 2 - Stager Junction to Brule River, 3 miles - groomed  

Trails # 2, 116 - Stager Junction to Minnie Lake, 11 miles - groomed  

 

Many of our trails go through privately owned property.  Please repay the cooperation 

of the landowners that grant permission to ride on their property by staying on the trails.
